A Young Company With a Long Tradition
Despite our short track record, we hold a long lasting experience in manufacturing inductive components, says managing director Gilbert Berger. Milestones in our company history are:
1972: Formation of the primal company by Siemens AG to develop and manufacture inductive components for high potential and high frequency applications.
1980: Start of manufacturing SMD Inductivities for radar and radio equipments.
1983: First operation of vacuum casting technology in production.
1988: Start of MELF Holder development and production.
1989: Takeover of the company by Vacuumschmelze GmbH & Co. KG. Henceforth focussing on developing and manufacturing inductivities for railway applications.
2003: Foundation of Inductron GmbH through a Management Buy-out.
2004: Foundation of Inductron Inductive Electronic Components S.à r.l in Luxemburg.
2009: Acquisition of the company Ziegler in Nýrany, CZ. Large quantity order from Thales, France on the production of coils over a period of 9 years.
2010: Serial production of 33kW transformer for the Siemens high speed trains "Valero" with a max. speed of 404km/h, a further development of the ICE 3 train generation.
